2. Compensation

6. Confidentiality

Whether that applies to you depends on the country whose law governs the contract — check with a local lawyer. Either way, the safest move is to fix it before signing rather than rely on a court later.

8. Non-Solicitation

- Time off in lieu
- Compensating extra hours worked with equivalent free time instead of money.
- Clawback
- A contractual right to demand money back — here, training costs if you resign within a set period.
